BOSBestVeteranGroup4ELIE-Jan2014

At Dun Roman we celebrate all our young champions, but the biggest cause for celebration is a competitive Veteran.  As breeders we strongly believe that the Veteran class is where the true quality for our breed can be seen.  You expect young dogs to be in top condition and show shape, but the true test of a quality bred Dane is the test of time…  We wish all breeders and show enthusiast would exhibit in the veteran class, it is the only way one can get a complete and accurate picture of someone’s line/pedigree.  When we see an outstanding Veteran, that is important information we consider when making decisions on the future direction of our line, because health and longevity are the most important part of a good breeding program.
